How do I use the YIONN Gold Set?
Step 1: cleanse your skin 1-3 times a week with the Kjarr scrub & peel and the exfoliating glove.
Step 2: protect the skin during shaving with the shaving cream.
Step 3: shave with the single-blade razor.
Step 4: soothe your skin after hair removal with the Náinn aftershave balm.
Step 5: prevent red bumps, itching, and ingrown hairs by applying the Raka treatment lotion* daily. After 3 weeks, you can taper off use as needed.
* Contains a small amount of aspirin. Not recommended during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or in case of allergy.
The single-blade razor in particular requires some extra explanation because it is a product that many women are not yet familiar with. The shaving angle (the position of the blade relative to your skin) is the most important factor.
The ideal position of the blade relative to your skin is 30°. If you make the angle too small, it can cause irritation and a burning sensation, and you run the risk of micro-cuts. If the angle is greater than 30°, there is a chance the blade won’t touch your skin and therefore won’t shave off any hairs.
Don’t be disappointed if it doesn’t work perfectly the first time with the single-blade razor. A common “complaint” is that the blade doesn’t remove any hair, or that you have to go over the same patch of skin multiple times. This is simply a matter of patience and getting used to it: you need to master the shaving angle.
Who is the Gold Set (not) suitable for?
The Gold Set is suitable for both men and women and for all skin types and skin tones.
Are you pregnant, breastfeeding, or do you have an allergy to aspirin? Then the Raka treatment lotion is not recommended.
The use of Kjarr scrub & peel is not recommended for rosacea, pustular acne, or during a chemical peel.
Which body parts is the Gold Set suitable for?
All products in the Gold Set are suitable for all body parts, including the intimate zones and the face.
Do you want to use the Raka treatment lotion on your face? Keep in mind that it has a mild exfoliating effect, and Raka does not contain SPF. Therefore, use Raka in the evening so that you can properly nourish and protect the skin the next morning and throughout the day with an appropriate SPF.
How soon will I notice results?
With daily use of the Raka treatment lotion, you can expect a reduction in itching, red bumps, and ingrown hairs after a maximum of 3 weeks. Often you will experience this even sooner.
If you have little or no results after 14 days and you are using the Raka treatment lotion daily, then switch to the so-called intensive course.
You apply Raka twice a day for 10 days: in the morning and in the evening.
Continue using the other products as advised: exfoliate 3x per week with Kjarr scrub & peel, protect the skin during shaving with the shaving cream, shave with the single-blade razor, and apply the Náinn aftershave balm after shaving.
Are you seeing results then? Then go back to applying the Raka treatment lotion once daily, and continue using the rest as prescribed.
I don’t notice any results yet. What should I do?
