YIONN: I still remember like it was yesterday when the first bottle of Raka rolled off the production line: how proud and grateful I was.

Proud of the result and thankful for the moment when YIONN truly started: it was a dream come true.

I’m still proud, and perhaps even more grateful than I was at that moment, because YIONN has grown explosively, and every day more women join who also benefit from my products and are freed from their hair removal discomforts.

YIONN has grown from a one-woman mission to a team of women, each fulfilling their own role.

In the meantime, after the Netherlands, we are also active in Belgium, Germany, and Austria, and who knows where we’ll be in two years. For women, by women: YIONN!

I’d love to introduce you to “my” YIONN women:

Janou:

If you’ve ever had contact with YIONN’s customer service, her name may already be familiar to you.

Janou has been my first real “in-house” employee at YIONN since March 2018.

YIONN grew rapidly, and the number of customer service inquiries quickly increased.

Janou was in the right place at the right time.

Together, we brought YIONN to Belgium, Germany, and Austria, and as the Customer Care Manager, Janou, along with her team, takes care of our customers.

We’d love to introduce her team to you. It’s always nice to put a face to a name, right? You probably know mine by now.

Joana:

Joana joined the YIONN team in March 2020.

As a native German, she has been living in the Netherlands for 17 years, so you’ll encounter her on both the German and Dutch customer service teams.

Joana handles the translations from Dutch to German, and together we are responsible for the YIONN Shop in Germany and Austria.

Thanks to Joana, we’ve gained a foothold in Germany, and we are confident that our German and Austrian customers are always treated in a polite and professional manner.

Daniëlle:

Daniëlle joined the YIONN team in April 2020.

Her language skills are so well-developed that Daniëlle assists Dutch, German, and English-speaking customers on Customer Care.

Thanks to Daniëlle, our German and Austrian customers are well taken care of, and soon we’ll be able to expand YIONN to English-speaking countries as well.

In addition, Daniëlle, together with Janou, is responsible for customer contact via our social media (Facebook and Instagram).

Siva:

Siva is the newest addition to the YIONN team.

You won’t encounter her much on customer service, as Siva applies her skills in other areas.

Siva ensures, among other things, that our sales are scheduled on time, the discount codes work for our customers, and that you receive timely notifications via email and social media.

She is responsible for the emails we send from YIONN and the advertisements we create to help even more women get rid of their hair removal discomforts.

Marijke:

Marijke designed all the packaging for the YIONN products and still creates the visuals for the Shop, emails, and blogs.

Marijke is a creative all-rounder who, in addition to working for me, also runs a functional gym with her husband Marcel and has her own lifestyle brand: Baresteel.

Marijke and her husband Marcel are both very dear to me.

Thanks to them, I’ve adopted a new lifestyle: responsible fitness, healthy eating, and chasing your dreams.
